From the Field to Fork: Traceability and Tracking our Food Supply (2 of 3 part series)

Who produces our food? What does the food supply chain look like? This week we take our food discussion from the field to fork and learn about food traceability and the events that take place during a food recall. With incidents like the XL Foods recall in Alberta, there are questions surrounding the safety of our food supply, the speed to which contaminated food is recalled, and governments and industry’s role in ensuring we have access to knowledge on how our food are sourced.
