Conflict and the International Landscape

This week we dive into the world of international conflict resolution and justice. International peacekeeping, the responsibility to protect and international justice: What are they? How have they evolved? What is Canada’s role? What does the future hold?  We sat down with Louise Arbour, Executive Director of the International Crisis Group, and Ron Levi, Associate Professor of Global Affairs and Sociology at the University of Toronto, to discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the current models used to mediate conflict and bring about justice on the international stage. We also include excerpts from the School of Public Policy and Governance’s Inaugural David Peterson Leadership Lecture, given by Louise Arbour, at the the University of Toronto.
