Anti-Terror and Security Policy in Canada

Recent stories in the media have focused attention on troubling events such as ISIS attacks, Charlie Hebdo in Paris, and the attack on Parliament in Ottawa. We wanted to apply a policy lens to such controversial events, and asked our guests to offer analysis on Bill C-51. Are there aspects that require further review and amendment? How can the government achieve a proper balance between privacy and national security? Are there gaps in existing policy that necessitate Bill C-51? What the impact of Bill C-51 would have on people in the day-to-day? We discuss these questions and more with our expert guests.
