Connor Fraser
Connor is a Co-Executive Producer with Beyond the Headlines and a dual Master’s Candidate in Global Affairs and Business Administration. He holds a BASc. in Engineering Science with a Major in Electrical and Computer Engineering, also from U of T. Previously, Connor worked on the Technology Development Team of Microchip FPGA Corporation in San Jose, California. For the past two summers, Connor worked with the Space and Marine Teams of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) to advance several files such as the technology development strategy for a critical sub-sector of the space economy, and the National Shipbuilding Strategy Value Proposition (NSS-VP).
His interests encompass Canadian voter turnout, the political economy of innovation, and negotiating the transition towards a low-energy economy. In his free time, Connor enjoys designing and throwing boomerangs, sailing, and playing tennis.
